About

b. 1986, HK.

Hi! I’m Kelsey.

I’m a former Theatre kid turned UX researcher, and accessibility advocate. Prior to my UX career, I jump started my flexibility and empathic mindset with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre. My training reframed the way I approach problems, honed my collaboration skills, and eventually, motivated me to leave the Motor City to pursue a Masters in Human Computer Interaction at DePaul University, Chicago.

After five years designing for various sectors such as finance, healthcare and government, my focus is designing accessible and inclusive digital experiences from the onset. Similar to my time in Theatre, I love examining complexity, ambiguity, and advocating for people’s given circumstances in my designs.

When I’m not tackling design problems, you can find me e-foiling with my husband in Naples, Florida, or playing with my fur-child Harvey. Are you looking for a digital accessibility advocate? Want to know more? Feel free to reach out.
